Whole Broiler Chickens - (Processed and Frozen)
We raise chickens for meat (called broiler chickens) at our farm in the warmer months of the year. We raise the white cornish-cross breed of chicken and raise them primarily on grass in mobile chicken "tractors" in our fields with feed and water available to them 100% of the time. Their average to-the-customer weight is about 4-6 pounds each. I currently sell them by the pound fully-dressed and in labeled, shrink-wrapped bags.
